Launched Project YouJustGetMe to help people analyze whether others are forming accurate personality impressions about them from their online profiles. I'm partnering with Sam Gosling of the University of Texas at Austin on this research/experiential demo.
Founder of Psychster Inc., a consulting firm dedicated to online psychological research and experiences, David is leveraging his Ph.D. on online social behavior and 10+ publication history to examine trends in social networking websites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Classmates. David was a former Sr. Business Analyst with Classmates.com and has managed international beta programs for Microsoft examining instant-messaging behavior. Psychster Inc. has provided online research services for AllRecipes.com, Xeriton Corp., Perfect Pixels Media Group, RIPL Corp., University of Maryland, Arizona State University, and Northwestern University. Prior to going "online," David taught social psychology and statistics for three years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Union College in Schenectady, NY.
